ATLUS has announced that both Persona 4: The Animation and Persona 4: The Golden Animation will be available to watch for free for a limited time through its official AtlusTube YouTube channel and the Japanese streaming platform ABEMA as part of the ongoing Persona 30th anniversary celebration. The campaign allows fans to revisit the anime adaptations while anticipation continues to build around Persona 4 Revival.

The event will begin with Persona 4: The Animation, the 25-episode television adaptation of the original Persona 4 game. Episode 1 will be available for free on the aforementioned YouTube channel beginning June 26, 2026, and will remain accessible until July 10. The remainder of the series will then be broadcast in a free marathon on ABEMA's Anime Special 2 channel from June 27 at 1:00 P.M. JST through June 28 at 1:00 A.M. JST.

Following the live broadcast, all episodes will remain available for free on-demand through ABEMA until July 5.

The campaign will, then, continue the following week with Persona 4: The Golden Animation, the 12-episode adaptation based on Persona 4 Golden. Unlike the first anime, which closely adapts the original game's story, this anime centers on Marie and incorporates content introduced in the expanded version.

Episode 1 will premiere on AtlusTube on July 3 and remain available until July 17, while ABEMA will host a full-series marathon from July 4 at 7:00 P.M. JST through July 5 at 1:00 A.M. JST. Below are the start and end dates of the marathon broadcasts translated for North American time zones:

International viewers should note that the campaign is primarily intended for Japanese audiences. Both anime are expected to sream with their original Japanese audio, and English subtitles have not been announced.

In addition, although ABEMA frequently limits access to many of its broadcasts outside Japan, some programming is available internationally. It has not yet known whether both marathon streams will be subject to regional restrictions. Regardless, the Youtube premieres are expected to be more broadly accessible.

The free streaming campaign is the latest initiative commemorating the Persona franchise's 30th anniversary, which has included merchandise, live events, and game announcements throughout 2026. Earlier this month, ATLUS showcased more of Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of the beloved PS2 JRPG, while also announcing Persona 6.
