Palworld Online MMO Arrives in 2026
A "Large-Scale Multiplayer Survival" For Android and iOS

Palworld takes its world to mobile in Palworld Online, a "large-scale multiplayer survival adventure game" developed and published by Singapore-based studio Garena with licensing from Pocketpair. As announced on its official website, it is slated for release on Android and iOS sometime in 2026.
It aims to reimagine the "depth, freedom, and scale" of the original PC title in an open world but in the comfort of a handheld mobile device. Notably, it will also introduce a new narrative with "original story elements" as it seeks to expand into the MMO (Massively Online Multiplayer) sphere. A specific release date or window has yet to be announced.
Palworld Online is a spin-off MMORPG title, not to be confused with Palworld Mobile, another mobile venture from Pocketpair in partnership with Krafton (inZOI, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Dinkum). Based on its promotional materials, Palworld Online features a more traditional MMO experience in the heart of Palworld, while Palworld Mobile appears to be a "brand new casual 3 vs 3 PvP mobile game" as it is described on Google. Neither game has released a gameplay trailer as of writing.
A Seamless Open and Shared World

Players will be able to explore a vast, interconnected ecosystem with Pals and other players alike, preserving the PC version's signature elements of survival-crafting and Pal-collecting while adding new content for a unique experience such as new side stories made exclusively for the game.
As an MMO-centered title, Palworld Online highlights co-op play such as building collaborative hubs and visiting other players' or groups' bases, hunting rare Pals as a group, and taking down rampaging bosses together in PvE. Those with a competitive streak can also engage in thrilling PvP matches.
All of these will be optimized for mobile accessibility, as the game will feature a streamlined interface with optional one-tap controls to cater to more rigorous gameplay mechanics such as base planning, construction, and more.
Pocketpair Will Work Closely With Garena for Palworld Online

Garena is known for its library of multiplayer games including Call of Duty: Mobile, Delta Force, Arena of Valor, and more, and thus taking on the Palworld IP does not seem directly out of its scope. Takuro Mizobe, Pocketpair's CEO, also praised the company for its "extensive experience in global publishing, localisation, and live operations for mobile games," hence the partnership between the two companies.
Garena President Terry Zhao shared that it was a great opportunity to bring the widely recognized IP to mobile "in a way that encourages players to connect and venture together." He also reassures that by working closely with Pocketpair, they will strive to provide the same immersion and freedom for mobile play. Mizobe expressed his excitement for "a new Palworld experience brought to players worldwide."
Palworld Expansion Goes Above and Beyond

Palworld Online is the IP's newest venture into the mobile space, following the also in-development Palworld Mobile title by Krafton, and one of its latest additions to the IP's repertoire of upcoming titles such as Palworld: Palfarm and Pal♡world! ~More Than Just Pals.
The IP has also made headlines for being one of Steam's biggest launches this year, marking its second historical high from the heels of a record-breaking Early Access debut back in 2024.
Last July 30th, it had also released its Original Card Game across the globe, bringing Palworld to the tabletop trading card game sphere as well. With all these in the horizon, Palworld as an IP is on the track to becoming one of the more recognizable franchises in gaming.
