No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 Sets October Full Launch Window
Cross-Play, New Content, and Founders Pack Rewards Confirmed
No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 will launch in October 2026 on PC via Steam and PS5, according to Moon Studios’ June 2 post on the official No Rest for the Wicked website. The full release will move the action RPG out of Early Access after two years of public development, but the developers have yet to announce a specific launch date.
Moon Studios’ official platform list currently places PC via Steam and PS5 in October 2026, while Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 are both marked TBD.
Since its Early Access launch in 2024, No Rest for the Wicked has reached over 1.8 million players. For current PC players, the October launch gives the game a clearer endpoint after two years of updates, while PS5 players will get the first confirmed console version at 1.0.
1.0 Adds New Areas, Horde Mode, and Class Changes

According to Moon Studios, No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 will offer around 100 hours of content overall, with more than 60 hours of new content. The studio named broad additions such as new areas, bosses, enemies, weapons, and a horde mode, though specific boss, enemy, and weapon names have not been listed yet.
Those additions build on a world with more than 15 hand-crafted regions, secrets, branching paths, and major encounters. For players who have already cleared earlier builds, this gives the 1.0 launch a wider exploration and endgame angle instead of only a final story update.

The full release will introduce a reimagined class and progression system built around more flexible character development. Moon Studios said two players using the same weapon can still build and play differently, so weapon choice will not completely define how a character feels in combat.
No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 will feature the final story arc, new cinematic scenes, endgame activities, and replayability-focused content. Full cross-play and cross-save between PC and supported console versions are planned for launch.
Early Access Players Will Receive Founders Pack

Early Access players who buy No Rest for the Wicked on Steam before July 10, 2026, will receive the Founders Pack as an additional bonus. These rewards will become available when Version 1.0 launches.
The Founders Pack includes Spirit Cavern, an exclusive hideout tied to Moon Studios’ legacy, as well as Sayer’s Vow, a mysterious sword reserved for Founders. Players will also receive a Founder’s Tag and access to a Founders Test Realm for future updates.
PS5 players will be able to receive the Early Access Founders Pack rewards by pre-ordering the game between the start of pre-orders and launch day.
Early Access Began in 2024 Before the 1.0 Push

Moon Studios first released No Rest for the Wicked through Steam Early Access in April 2024. The studio is best known for Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, while No Rest for the Wicked shifts its focus toward soulslike action RPG combat.
The October 2026 launch now marks the next major step for the game, moving it from PC Early Access toward a full PC and PS5 release. Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are still planned for a later date.
