Morimens Teams Up with Saya no Uta

Morimens confirmed that it will be running a collaboration event with Nitroplus's acclaimed horror visual novel Saya no Uta, timed to the game's 2.5th Anniversary. The lineup of events in May features the anniversary celebration on the 18th, followed by the Saya no Uta collaboration on the 30th.
The crossover was first hinted at in mid-March 2026 through a brief teaser trailer on the official Morimens X (Twitter) account, cryptically captioned "Fragments of dreams, carried by the wind." With more details now live, fans are expecting to claim the SSR Limited Awakener Saya alongside 250 Ethereal Cores, Morimen’s limited-time gacha currency, upon logging in during the event and clearing select stages. As not all rewards have been revealed, the community continues to anticipate further announcements.
Ethereal Cores have an expiry date, after which they revert to standard pulls. Though they'll likely last a couple of months, the time limit encourages players to use their pulls during the anniversary. On a brighter note, Ethereal Cores are also being added as a permanent upgrade to standard maintenance compensation.

Players assume the role of a Keeper in a dying world where people lose memories and assemble decks through bonds with characters called Awakeners, across a Cthulhu-influenced world of randomized realms and episodic storytelling. The game features over 185 cards, a PvP mode for competitive play, and a progression system that rewards repeated runs.
The Saya no Uta collab arrives at the game’s 2.5-year mark, with fans noting how niche the partnership is and the creative direction that B.I.A.V. Studio has for Morimens. Rather than collaborating with a more well-known title, the developers have chosen an IP that shares similar themes to their game’s identity.
