Monster Hunter Wilds Adds Free KFC Felyne and Poogie Pendants
Past Campaign Pendants Are Now Free to Claim
Capcom has made several previously campaign-exclusive Monster Hunter Wilds pendants available for free to all players. The free cosmetic items include the KFC Colonel Felyne, KFC Bucket Felyne, and Rolling Poogie: Takoyaki pendants.
These items were made available globally on June 11, 2026, through each platform’s digital store. The official posts did not state why the campaign items are being released globally now, but the rollout gives players outside the original promotions a way to claim them without joining the earlier KFC and Poogie campaigns.
The pendants can be equipped from the Appearance Menu in the player’s tent. The KFC Felyne post quickly caught players’ attention on X, with fans joking about the fast-food crossover and sharing amused reactions to the small but unexpected free item drop.
Free Pendants Follow Ascendance Expansion Reveal
The free pendant rollout comes after Capcom revealed Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, the game’s first large-scale paid expansion planned for 2027.
Ascendance is set after the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds and will bring hunters into new regions with additional monsters, quest ranks, and expanded weapon actions. Capcom has not announced an exact release date for the expansion as of writing.
The pendants are separate free cosmetic downloads, but their release gives players another small item drop to claim while waiting for the next major Monster Hunter Wilds update.
