Love and Deepspace’s Version 6.0 is arriving in July, along with a variety of new content and rewards to welcome the game’s newest character.
Version 6.0 Adds New Love Interest Valko
Event Gifts, Free Memory Cards, New Main Story
Love and Deepspace (LADS) gears up for Version 6.0 [A Shattered Quiet] with the Special Program "Moonhowl Party," detailing the plethora of content to arrive on July 9th.
Firstly, the sixth love interest (LI), Valko, will make his debut through the Main Story update [The Tameless Game], accessible only to players who have cleared Main Story [Under Deepspace] 2-15. To unlock all of Valko’s functions, Chapter 1-5 of the new main story must be completed. Once accomplished, he can be added onto the game’s main screen and interacted with in With Him, Kitty Cards, Claw Machine, and more.
Alongside his debut, the [Hunt in Linkon] event will begin, which grants two free Valko Memories, 5-Star [Duskfall Prelude] and 4-Star [Under Staidrain], for free upon completion, as well as a free crate of the [Illusia Locus] 4-Star series featuring the other five LIs. It will also net the following bonuses:

⚫︎ 780x Diamonds
⚫︎ Enhancement Materials
⚫︎ New Outfits for MC
⚫︎ 3x General Photo Pose (usable by all LIs)

Additionally, logging into the game for 10 days after the version update will reward players with Valko 4-Star Memory [Charging Pawsward], 300x Diamonds, and 1 Empyrean Wish ticket through the [10 Days With You] event.
In line with his addition to the game, the [New Frontiers] Special Wish event will commence. This banner is essentially the standard Wish banner, Xspace Echo, but with a selectable Memory system. Players can select 5 Memories among all available Memories, including Valko’s new ones, and have them be rated up for a higher chance of obtaining them.
Home System 2.0 Adds Kitchen To The Villa
The in-game Home function will be upgraded, unlocking the Kitchen and several new functions. The Kitchen adds new cooking and eating interactions with the chosen LI, allowing for more heartfelt moments. Aside from the new kitchen gameplay, QoL updates will be added as well, such as home decorating made easier and more fun, new Handicraft gameplay for making decorative badges and plushies, an Assist mode for gardening, and more.
Photo Mode is improved with the all-new Pose Mode, allowing players to make use of the sweet Glint Photobooth poses right in the heart of the home. With the addition of changing weather and new scenery such as heavy rain, rosy clouds, and the aurora, it sets the stage for more interesting photos.
Playing through all of the Home System’s new gameplay mechanics will net an accumulated 6000 Diamonds spread across achievements and milestones.
Illusio Returns, and Widgets Revamp
A fan-favorite limited-time feature, Illusio, will also make its return in Version 6.0. Illusio allows players to customize their LIs’ outfits in 5-Star Memories’ interactive Kindleds, making for a variety of either funny or sweet content depending on the character’s fit.
For the off-screen Widget function, Valko will also be added as a selected LI. The Widgets themselves have expanded in scope as well, introducing features such as Closer Steps, a daily walker step count; Within Words, a widget for quotable quotes by the LIs; Home Notes, for tracking Home progress and with secret messages; and a revamped Photo Widget, allowing for multiple in-game photos to be displayed on the device.
Fan Reception Continues To Be Mixed
However, the Love and Deepspace fanbase’s reaction remains largely mixed to the sudden addition of the new LI, citing that Sylus and Caleb, LIs added into the game post-launch in 2024 and 2025, respectively, have "missing content" in the main story that has yet to be added. While a number of players have stayed positive with the sixth LI’s introduction, others have expressed their dissatisfaction on social media with the timing, with most arguing that developer Infold/Papergames should address the lack of content for the two LIs before adding anyone new.
This is just one of the many issues that the player base has with the company, with many previous complaints, such as Xavier’s King of Darknight companion’s advertised skills not playing out correctly in-game, the condensed timeline of limited banners, lack of resources for free-to-play players, no update to the combat gameplay, the poor rendering in Kindleds and in-game cutscenes regarding darker-skinned MCs, and more, not being resolved.
The addition of a sixth LI may have been the very straw that broke the camel’s back, as many players from both the global server and the CN server have made their exit. Love and Deepspace’s account on Xiaohongshu/Red Note has allegedly lost over 1 million followers since Valko’s reveal, further emphasizing the player base’s response.
On the other side of the spectrum, Valko fans from across the world have been taking to social media to showcase their excitement for his debut, posting several pieces of fan art that have made the rounds and turned some skeptics into fans, as well as overall support, asking others to "give him a chance" first.
Love and Deepspace in Anime Expo 2026 Reveals Love Interest Exhibition and Merchandise
Love and Deepspace will be making their appearance at this year’s Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, bringing with them a large exhibition with an interactive event and a check-in event, as well as official merchandise for purchase.
The interactive event will be held at the "Berserk Lab" exhibition area. Participation is only for Hunters at Level 60 and above who have previously registered for the event through a form. The form is now closed for the interactive event, but reservations for the exclusive giveaway claim are currently ongoing. The giveaway, which consists of merchandise such as a large paper bag, a hand fan, and a door hanger, is also reserved only for Hunters at Level 60 and above. Both events will require account verification at the booth proper.
Hunters who are unable to secure slots for the interactive event can still see the LIs up close with their standees at the Check-In Event from 9 AM to 12:45 PM (July 2-4) and 9 AM to 10:45 AM (July 5). Each of the six characters will have a dedicated exhibition area. Visits are limited to 2 minutes per person.
Merchandise for sale includes several previously released series, such as the Of Days and Forever wedding rings, Tender Whispers tinplate badges and standees, as well as different kinds of plushies from the Always With You, Leisure Moments, Bamboo Zephyr, and Your Cat Misses You merchandise lines.
Concluding the show, Love and Deepspace will also be making their appearance at AIS SIAM in Bangkok, Thailand, with details to be announced.
