Love and Deepspace has revealed Valko, the sixth love interest joining Love and Deepspace, debuting alongside Version 6.0 "A Shattered Quiet" on July 9, 2026. The Werewolf, who leads EonCore Tech, a company connected to Ever, stands 6'2" and is 26 years old, according to Infold’s official website. His Evol ability is Metallization, apart from his showcased werewolf transformation.
The reveal trailer, "Chasing Night," frames Valko as a predator lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. As "a creature of fangs and claws [that] hides within the concrete jungle," he’s seen running across a dark forest, scouring like it's his all-too-familiar "hunting ground." As is the norm with every newly added love interest, a main romance storyline will launch alongside Valko, with additional unlockable Companion versions of him to follow.
Fans may also get an early look at Valko in person sooner than expected, as Love and Deepspace has confirmed its presence at Anime Expo 2026, booth SH-1920, from July 2 to 5, 2026. The official announcement post mentions fans can spot staff wearing wolf ears at the event and "abnormal fluctuations occurring in the game's Linkon's Deepspace Tunnel" as a result of Valko’s upcoming arrival.
The organizers detail that Valko's werewolf storyline will tie into the convention's special exhibition theme, "Berserk Lab." Interactive sessions require registration through a form on official accounts, with guest slots awarded via random raffle drawing. Those interested may apply before registration closes June 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM (UTC+8).
Fans are Split Over Design for Werewolf Theme
Community reaction has been more divided than past new character reveals. Much of the discussion centers on Valko's design, particularly the combination of human and wolf ears alongside a visible tail, which several fans find visually awkward. Some have asked whether the wolf features could be limited to his Evol transformation rather than displayed at all times.
Others feel Valko's design overlaps too "closely with Sylus and Caleb," with Reddit forums describing him as a mix of the two rather than being a unique character. His chairman role has drawn similar criticism, with fans pointing out it feels redundant alongside a strong cast of male leads who also come from high positions.
A few longtime players also raised concerns about the added time and financial commitment of supporting another character, noting that five already felt like a lot to keep up with. Unlike Caleb and Sylus, who were long written into the storyline, fans had no clue Valko ever existed in the first place. This reveal has also exposed friction between regional fan communities, with some X (Twitter) users noting unusually heated, polarized reactions from Chinese netizens surrounding all aspects of Valko.
Plenty of reactions have also leaned positive, however, with fans drawn to his werewolf theme and the chaotic, aggressive energy his trailer suggests. Several commenters on YouTube expressed immediate attachment to his design, voice, and eyes, while others were simply glad to see long-standing demand for a sixth love interest finally addressed.
Since launch, Love and Deepspace has added roughly one new love interest per year, with Sylus debuting in July 2024 and Caleb in January 2025. This makes Valko's arrival a continuation of that pace, though his appearance still comes as quite a big shock to the community. Looking at Infold’s cycle, a hidden seventh love interest remains unknown but now seems more possible in the future.
