Love and Deepspace is set to release one of its steamiest events yet. "Lingering Lust" goes live on April 30 with limited 5-Star Memories and more for Xavier, Caleb, Zayne, Sylus, and Rafayel.
Love and Deepspace Unveils Sultry "Lingering Lust" Event
Take a Dip in the Hot Springs
Love and Deepspace (LADS) reveals an upcoming multi-banner event, "Lingering Lust," running from April 30 at 5:00 AM to May 15 at 4:59 AM server time. Alongside the announcement, teaser videos for each love interest—Xavier, Caleb, Zayne, Sylus, and Rafayel—were shared on the dating sim’s official X (Twitter) and Instagram accounts. The full trailer is slated to debut with the game’s update.
All five love interests will have their own limited 5-Star Memory with steamy hot bath scenes centered on desire: [Xavier: Sunken Glow], [Zayne: Silent Underflow], [Rafayel: Rippling Blossoms], [Sylus: Darkbound Souls], and [Caleb: Vinesurge Instinct]. Players can choose three characters they gravitate to the most—with selections freely changeable at any time—for 75% higher pull rates.
As the Memories are exclusive to this event and will not enter the permanent wish pool, the community has a two-week window to secure their favored pulls. Moreover, reaching Rank 1 for a Memory unlocks the Special-Colored Memory-Themed Outfit for the corresponding love interest.
Abound with Rewards and New Outfits
The event features a cumulative wish reward system that grants players stacked in-game content, such as apparel pieces and Memories, by reaching certain wish counts in the Limited 5-Star Wish Pool. The rewards are as follows:

There are also in-app purchase bundles, the Soaked Embrace Pack and Shared Warmth Pack, available in the Shop while the event is active. They contain the Deepspace Wish: Limited currency, which can be used to unlock Limited 5‑Star Memories, and will be converted into Empyrean Wishes once the event concludes. Empyrean Wishes can be spent on the wish pool, Xspace Echo, for permanent 5-star and lower-tier Memories.
Aside from its exclusive content, the hot springs event introduces permanent additions with new attire and accessories. Paid items include the face piercings "Silent Confession" for the love interests, as well as outfit sets for the main character (MC) at 61% off with Heartbeat Promise: Flutter Echo, Memory in Bloom, Blaze Surge, Floral Ripple, and Cloud Reverie.
For those who prefer a free-to-play experience, daily points earned from tasks can be exchanged for a variety of rewards at no cost. These include the Universal Headwear [Willow Verses], Deepspace Wishes, and Awakening Heart: SR, among others.
"Steam Veil" Sub-Event
Fans can also take part in the "Steam Veil" sub-event to access extra minigames and items tied to exclusive storylines in the Hot Spring Resort. In "Moodscape Pick," players get to enter the consciousness of the love interests and organize their Thought Boards. Meanwhile, "Stirring Haze" allows players to part the mist clouding their view of a selected character, uncovering more of his thoughts.
Participation in the abovementioned minigames enables players to claim 500 Diamonds, 10 Deepspace Wishes, the Luster Bracelet, the Silent Protocol MC outfit, Universal Headwear [Cloudbreak], Universal Decal [Sweet Cipher],
Snapshot Background [Hush Springs], Portrait Effect [Veiled Mist], Event-Exclusive Title [Love-Soaked Sweet Escape], Journal Items, Stickers, Cascade Stamps, and the soundtracks [Lingering Lust], [Hazy Echoes], and [Lilting Flow].
LADS Fandom Pokes Fun at Censorship
While LADS has always leaned into mature themes, fans are abuzz over the sultry teasers for "Lingering Lust," suggesting it may rival even 2024's highly sensual "Nightly Rendezvous" event. However, there were also lighthearted censorship gripes over fog obscuring portions of the trailers to make them more palatable to the public.
Users on social media jokingly likened it to "lightsaber level censorship," referencing content regulation used in erotic boy's love (BL) comics and other explicit media, especially those originating in East Asia. Nonetheless, the steam visuals still did not stop YouTube from taking down the shorts the same day they were posted.
LADS currently carries an age rating of 13+, although some countries, such as Australia and Indonesia, have recently opted for higher age restrictions. Many in the player base have also urged the developers to raise the age rating to accommodate more mature content.
