Love and Deepspace Unveils "Sylus: Kitten Included" Event
From May 22 to May 31
Love and Deepspace's (LADS) official social media accounts announced an upcoming banner for the love interest Sylus, with his 5-Star Memory obtainable from May 22 at 5:00 AM to May 31 at 4:59 AM server time. The event sees the main character (MC) turning into a kitten after being ambushed by a criminal group in the N109 Zone and injected with a "homemade gene product."
The accompanying trailer depicts Sylus returning to the "Meow Meowpark" he bought for the MC, and playful interactions ensue between him and the cat-transformed player. "Cats are good at entertaining themselves. Humans are different, though. This one really misses his kitten," the caption read.
Players can pull the limited-time 5-Star Memory "Sylus: Kitten Included" at boosted drop rates during the event. It will not be added to the permanent wish pool afterward. Various cumulative rewards will also unlock once a certain number of wishes have been made, including the following:

Two in-app purchase bundles, the "Softfluff Pack" and "Sweet Indulgence Pack," will be listed in the Shop while the event is active. The packs contain both regular and limited Deepspace Wishes, with the latter converting into Empyrean Wishes once the event concludes. Empyrean Wishes may be used in the Xspace Echo wish pool to pull permanent 5-star and lower-tier Memories.
Moreover, players can join the event's giveaway campaign by following @Love_Deepspace on X (formerly Twitter) and reposting the main announcement. Five random participants will have a chance to win $50.
Fans Think "Infold Has Been Reading the Fanfics"
The banner's reveal immediately prompted humorous remarks from the LADS community. Many likened it to 2024's "Love and Meowspace" event centered on Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, and Sylus, who each sported cat ears and a tail. However, the current event reverses the roles for Sylus, with the MC "[taking] the nickname a little too seriously" and turning into a literal kitten, rather than simply using feline accessories.
Users expressed their delight on social media, suggesting that developer Infold Games may have been "taking notes" from LADS fanfiction and applied it to the banner's scenario. Some also reacted with amused disbelief at the kitten MC "making biscuits" on Sylus and scratching at his face.
Meanwhile, another user pointed out that the event is "almost as unhinged as the stick figures," which originated from the LADS official accounts attempting a hilarious workaround for the Lingering Lust trailers in April due to mature scenes. The stick figures quickly became an inside joke within the community, as artists began adding them as stickers and mini plush toys to their catalogs at conventions in less than a week.
