Light and Night SEA Closed Beta Test Starts May 20

Light and Night SEA’s upcoming closed beta test (CBT) will feature various in-game events to help players kick-start their designer journeys. As announced on the game’s official X (Twitter) account on May 19, developer Aurora Studio shared new details regarding what fans can expect from the upcoming testing period.
The CBT will be a data wipe test, which means all progress made after the playtest will be deleted. Those interested can still pre-register on Light and Night SEA’s official website. However, registration will close immediately once the game reaches its undisclosed participant cap.
The beta will feature a variety of celebratory launch events during the test phase. Players can claim daily login rewards, which include the 5-star Bond Qi Sili: Eternal Garden, unlock free progression items via Growth Packs, and earn exclusive outfits and accessories by reaching specific Designer Titles in the Warson Classics event.
They will also have a guaranteed 6-star Bond within the first 10 draws of the game’s gacha system. Additionally, participants are encouraged to complete an in-game survey during the CBT to earn extra rewards.
Over 200% Top Up Rebate
During the CBT, the game’s top-up shop will be accessible exclusively through the VNGGames Shop. All purchases made during this test phase will be converted into Polaris and rebated upon the official launch.
To claim the CBT rebate at the official launch, players must log in using the same account they used during the May 20–27 test period. Once a new character is created, they can register for the rebate through the in-game interface to have their Polaris delivered directly to their mailbox.
The Closed Beta Test top-up rebate system calculates the return using accumulated Membership Points across three distinct spending tiers, where 30 points equal 1 Polaris. Players will receive a 200% rebate on points up to 20,000 (Tier 1), a 150% rebate on points between 20,001 and 50,000 (Tier 2), and a flat 100% rebate on any points exceeding 50,000 (Tier 3).
All final Polaris distributions are calculated cumulatively by tier, with any decimal amounts rounded up to the next whole number, though the Membership Points themselves are strictly used for calculation and will not be credited at launch.
While the announcement for Light and Night’s SEA release was marred with skepticism following previous hoaxes and its X account being suspended earlier this year, it seems that the highly anticipated otome gacha is finally coming in Southeast Asia
