Invincible VS Conquest Deep-Dive Character Trailer
Perfect for a Fighting Game
Invincible VS unveiled the deep-dive trailer for its final base roster character, Conquest. Members of developer Quarter Up explained how the team approached bringing the vicious Viltrumite into the 3v3 tag-fighting game.
According to Narrative Director Mike Rogers, Conquest is simply "perfect for a fighting game," highlighting his defined look of being a "big, strong, crazy guy with [a] robot arm." He stated that the team was already brainstorming ways to bring the character to life even before the game’s development began.
Referencing Season 3 and the Invincible Comics

Quarter Up leaned heavily on Season 3 to ensure Conquest remained faithful to the source material. Rogers said that his ultimate is a direct, shot-for-shot adaptation of the show, and even his unique bubble-heart taunt has been integrated into the game.
Meanwhile, Art Director Dan Eder emphasized the team's commitment to lore accuracy, noting that they closely referenced the comics and spent more time on Conquest than any other character to capture his over-the-top expressions perfectly.
Lore-Accurate Moveset

The studio’s goal to create a lore-accurate Conquest extends to his moveset, as Lead Combat Designer Bau Bautista noted that his kit is "almost entirely made up of moves from the show." This includes his slap to Mark, his impaling strike to Eve, and the brutal moment he breaks Mark’s leg.
Despite being a "big-body" archetype, Conquest has unexpected mobility and utility. Executive Producer Mike Willette demonstrated this by highlighting a neutral special that gains armor-piercing properties at high speeds, alongside super moves that utilize homing or drag opponents the full length of the stage.

Though he excels as a point character due to his high damage and mix-up potential, QA Analyst Jeremy Lopez said that his versatile air mobility and strong assist options make him a well-rounded addition to any team composition.
With the launch approaching, Invincible VS is offering a sneak peek via an Open Beta on April 9. The event will include three playable modes and special rewards for the top 20 players on the leaderboard.
Invincible VS is set to be released on April 30, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. To stay up-to-date with the latest information about the game, check out our article below.
