holoVillage: Our Cozy Days Brings Cozy Life Sim With Hololive

holoVillage: Our Cozy Days, a slow-life RPG featuring characters from hololive Production, launches on April 24, 2026, as revealed in a press release published April 10. hololive Production is a Japanese entertainment group whose members are virtual streamers, or "VTubers," who appear on screen as animated characters that mirror their real-time voice and movements.
The game will be available on Steam for $24.99 on April 24 at 5:00 PM JST (1:00 AM PDT / 4:00 AM EDT). Developed by Roboqlo and published by holo Indie, it places players in a rural setting where they live alongside chibi versions of hololive talents while building and managing a village.
The publisher also released an official gameplay trailer featuring the familiar cozy game formula of farming, fishing, mining, and crafting, alongside managing a shop. It also shows dungeon exploration outside the village, where players take on enemies and bosses using different weapons and upgraded equipment.
The trailer’s main pull, however, is the appearance of several hololive talents, such as Houshou Marine, a pirate-themed VTuber known for her comedic personality; Watson Amelia, a detective-themed VTuber from hololive English; and Gawr Gura, a shark-themed VTuber widely recognized for her popularity and music covers.
More than 40 hololive members can move into the village as residents, helping with farm work, interacting with players, dressing up in custom outfits, and posing for photos together.
Customization will be a major part of the game, allowing players to decorate their homes and shops using furniture and items inspired by hololive. At launch, it will include over 1,800 furniture pieces, offering placement options that allow items to be stacked in layers or placed on walls. Players will also be able to design and share their rooms online or visit others’ spaces. Character customization will be equally extensive, featuring over 1,300 costumes and parts that will let players create their own avatar or dress up as their favorite hololive talents.
First announced during Hololive Super Expo 2025, holoVillage: Our Cozy Days originally included plans for multiplayer. It will now launch as a single-player title after development prioritized content volume and overall polish.
A paid DLC set will also launch alongside the game, priced at $3.99, featuring outfits based on those worn during hololive’s 3rd Generation live event, a live concert featuring hololive’s 3rd Generation members. The set includes costumes inspired by outfits worn by Usada Pekora, Shiranui Flare, Shirogane Noel, and Houshou Marine.
