Team Cherry announced Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow DLC, set to release sometime in 2026 for free. Details about the expansion are sparse, but it was said that players will get to trek across the sea in a new adventure.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is now available for purchase on Steam, GOG, the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop for $19.99.

Before its release, it was not available for pre-order on any platform, as confirmed by Matthew 'Leth' Griffin, a member of Team Cherry, on the game's official Discord.
