Like the previous closed beta, only Tutorial Mode and Quest Mode will be available. In Quest Mode, the first three quests are the same as before. However, a fourth, higher-difficulty quest titled "Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer" will become accessible after clearing the first three.
Completing the initial three quests will also unlock the game’s new summon mechanic, which can then be used in the fourth quest. The summon mechanic will be introduced as a new feature in the game, allowing players to call upon powerful allies in battle using a shared gauge built through link attacks—coordinated team strikes triggered during combat—and Skybound Arts, which are each character’s powerful special abilities.

Six summons will be available in the beta, and players will be able to trigger a "Primal Burst" during Link Time, which is activated when the party’s link gauge reaches 100% and all members perform a coordinated link attack. Entering Link Time will cause Lyria, a mysterious girl who can control primal beasts, to begin channeling a Primal Burst. When all party members use their Skybound Arts to trigger a full burst, Lyria will follow up with the Primal Burst. During Link Time, enemies will move more slowly while players gain buffs such as increased attack power.
Online multiplayer and cross-play between platforms will be supported across all quests, alongside local wireless play on Nintendo Switch 2. Returning players will have their quest completion progress carried over from the closed beta, though equipment and party setups will not be retained.
