Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is collaborating with ATLUS to bring Persona 3, 4, and 5 to the game. Here is everything we know so far about the crossover, along with all the announcements from the Special Summer Livestream.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Collab Teased Alongside Wave to You Summer Update
Collab Includes Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE has teased an upcoming collaboration with Atlus’ Persona series during its Summer Special Broadcast. Although few details have been revealed so far, the collaboration was the closing announcement during the game’s Summer Special Broadcast on June 27, which makes it one of the biggest reveals alongside the upcoming "Wave to You" update arriving in July.
The collaboration is another partnership between ATLUS’ RPG series and a popular live service title. Persona 5 has become one of the industry’s most frequently featured crossover properties, as it appears in games such as Another Eden, Identity V, AFK Arena, Call of Duty: Mobile, among many others. However, Persona 4 and Persona 3 have appeared much less often in crossover events. It remains unclear, however, whether the content arriving here stems from the remakes of Persona 3 and Persona 4—Reload and Revival, respectively.

The announcement also continues NIKKE’s high-profile collaborations. Since its launch, the third-person shooter RPG has partnered with franchises like NieR: Automata, Evangelion, Stellar Blade, and Dave the Diver, often introducing playable crossover characters alongside original event stories. A Persona collaboration would add another IP to that lineup, though its exact scope remains unknown until additional details are shared.
Given that this single crossover event will include three mainline entries from the Persona franchise, the scale of this collaboration is highly likely to eclipse anything players have seen in previous events.
Typically, NIKKE collabs follow a formula of just two or three crossover characters. Because this event spans multiple Persona generations, developers Shift Up will likely have to break that mold to satisfy players, potentially paving the way for an unprecedentedly large character roster or an interconnected storyline that celebrates Persona 3, 4, and 5 simultaneously.

NIKKE players, though, are jokingly mourning the game’s "imminent demise." In the gacha community, there’s "curse" that dictates that any mobile game partnering with Joker and the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5 is destined for a swift End of Service (EOS). Doomposters often point to casualties like Dragalia Lost, Star Ocea: Anamnesis, NieR Re[in]carnation—all of which shut their doors within roughly a year or two of hosting a Persona crossover.
This, however, is more of a meme born from statistical probability. Titans of the gacha industry like Granblue Fantasy, Puzzle & Dragons, and Identity V all hosted Persona events years ago and continue to thrive. Given that NIKKE remains one of the highest-grossing mobile RPGs on the market, it is far more likely to join the ranks of the curse’s survivors rather than its casualties.
Wave to You Update Launches July 2
The Persona teaser concluded a Summer Special Broadcast largely focused on the game's upcoming "Wave to You" update, which launches following maintenance on July 2. The update introduces a new fully voiced story event centered on a graduation trip organized by Marciana for Tia and Naga. Meanwhile, Cinderella joins Grave in searching for Hansel and Gretel after they disappear near the ocean. The two groups eventually converge on an island, where what begins as a relaxing summer vacation gradually turns into an investigation surrounding the island's hidden secrets.
Two limited SSR characters headline the event. Cinderella: Crystal Wave arrives in a new swimsuit prepared by Grave and features a special interactive mechanic that allows players to tap her standing pose to reveal a hidden black swimsuit.
Marciana: Marine Study also joins the roster as a limited character. Suspicious that the beach trip is actually a test despite being presented as a graduation vacation, Marciana covers the revealing swimsuit chosen by her students with her signature penguin outfit.
The update also introduces a new costume for Little Mermaid. The "Shell Princess" Costume Gacha outfit is inspired by her aquatic abilities and features a swimsuit design formed by the bubbles created from her liquid polymetal weapon, Spindrift.
Meanwhile, Tia’s "Sea Lizzie" and Naga’s "Ring Ensemble" outfits will be available through the Summer Pass. Several previous summer costumes and limited-time characters will return during the event.

Players can take on a new boss, a new variant of the Land Eater that has adapted beneath the ocean and transformed into an entire island. In addition, the seasonal minigame Island Breaker challenges players to bounce projectiles to clear beach debris and defeat Raptures in gameplay inspired by Puzzle Bobble, with collectible seashells used to strengthen attacks and build larger combos.
Commanders will have to wait for more announcements regarding the Persona collaboration, but seeing as all three Persona separate mainline entries of the RPG are included in a single crossover event, this may likely be a massive project.
