Forza Horizon 6 now has its own limited edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Xbox Wireless Headset. The new accessories were announced on April 20 through Xbox Wire and the official Xbox accessories page, with preorders now available on Xbox.com, at the Microsoft Store, and at select retailers.
The controller is priced at $89.99, while the headset carries a $134.99 MSRP. Microsoft Store says devices preordered from April 20 will ship on or after May 19, 2026, and broader retail availability will begin on or after May 21.
Controller Design Pulls From Japan's Touge Roads
Xbox says the controller draws its design cues from Japan’s Touge roads, the winding mountain passes closely associated with the country’s drifting culture. That influence appears in the controller’s transparent cyan-blue top case, which fades into a metallic gradient of volt green, hot pink, and silver accents. The look is rounded out by a silver metallic D-pad and two-tone rubberized diamond grips on the back.
The official accessory page also highlights dynamic lighting effects visible through the translucent top case and triggers, along with bold pink thumbsticks, multicolor ABXY buttons, textured triggers, a Share button, and a Horizon logo stamped on the battery door. Xbox lists the controller as having up to 40 hours of battery life using AA batteries.
Headset Adds Custom Sounds and Horizon Festival Styling
The matching headset carries over the same bright color palette, pairing white and transparent cyan with volt green and hot pink details. Xbox also gave it a transparent blue boom mic with a Forza logo, a bold Horizon graphic across the headband, and earcup dials with silver accents.
On Xbox Wire, Microsoft says certain actions, such as powering the headset on or off, pairing devices, and muting or unmuting the mic, use custom sound effects that mix a Japanese V8 engine with the Forza Horizon 6 interface. The headset also supports Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X, three audio technologies that can enhance spatial audio on supported devices, and its internal rechargeable battery is rated for up to 20 hours.
The Accessories Tie Into Forza Horizon 6's Japan Setting
The collection leans into the game’s move to Japan, which Xbox and Forza have positioned as the setting for this year’s Horizon Festival. On the official game site, Forza Horizon 6 is described as its biggest open-world driving adventure yet, featuring more than 550 real-world cars and a Japan map spanning both rural and urban areas.
Forza.net also says Tokyo City will be the largest urban area ever featured in a Forza Horizon game, with players driving through suburbs, downtown streets, docks, and industrial districts. Those details line up with the accessories’ Touge road-inspired controller design and Horizon-themed headset styling.
