Final Fantasy Resonance Brings In A New Crystal World
Releasing on October 22 This Year

The first Final Fantasy game released in HD-2D, Final Fantasy Resonance is set to release on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, 2026. It has also been confirmed that it will launch simultaneously on other platforms as well such as PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
It is a single-player adaptation of the mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, primarily focusing on the first chapter of the game but with unique story content that sets it apart from the original title.

The trailer reveals the premise where a mysterious and vengeful warrior seeks to destroy all eight crystals that keep the world afloat. As a knight, players set out on a journey to protect the crystals and the world from destruction, meeting various allies and foes along the way, as well as the truth of the world.
True to the mobile game, several familiar Final Fantasy characters across different games will also make their appearances in Resonance as "heroes resonate across worlds". The trailer showed snippets of Lightning, Noctis, Squall, Terra, Cloud, Shantotto, and more.
