Final Fantasy X is celebrating its 25th anniversary with two new music releases and a visual art book in Japan, featuring the Eternal Calm vinyl set, the Zanarkand Compilation Album, and the Eternal Spira art book.

Eternal Calm Vinyl, Zanarkand Album, and Visual Art Book Lead Anniversary Lineup
Final Fantasy X celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, and Square Enix is launching new music releases and a visual art book for the milestone. Square Enix Music is commemorating the anniversary with two music releases in Japan: the FINAL FANTASY X LP Vinyl Set -Eternal Calm- and the Zanarkand Compilation Album. Both music releases are scheduled to launch on July 1, 2026, six days before the game’s actual anniversary.
The Eternal Calm vinyl set is a two-disc analog release featuring 20 selected tracks from the original game. Meanwhile, the Zanarkand Compilation Album is a Square Enix Official Store exclusive, built around 15 versions and arrangements of the game’s iconic opening track, Zanarkand (also widely known as To Zanarkand).
Square Enix is also preparing a visual art book for the anniversary, making the lineup broader than just music. The FINAL FANTASY X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book -Eternal Spira- is listed for July 3, 2026 in Japan.
Eternal Calm Vinyl Includes 20 Songs and New Tetsuya Nomura Art
According to Square Enix Music, the FINAL FANTASY X LP Vinyl Set -Eternal Calm- includes 20 selected songs from the original game across a two-disc analog release. The set also features new 25th anniversary jacket art by Tetsuya Nomura.
Square Enix said that the records use a clear color inspired by the seaside imagery of Final Fantasy X, and the package also includes an MP3 download code. The track list includes fan-favorite tracks such as Zanarkand, Otherworld, Tidus's Theme, Yuna's Theme, SUTEKI DA NE (Isn't It Wonderful?), A Fleeting Dream, and Ending Theme.
Zanarkand Compilation Album Collects 15 Versions of One Theme
Alongside the Eternal Calm Vinyl, is the launch of the Zanarkand Compilation Album as a Square Enix Official Store exclusive. Zanarkand is one of Final Fantasy X’s most recognizable themes, closely tied to the game’s opening and emotional tone.
The album is dedicated entirely to Zanarkand and gathers 15 versions and arrangements of the piece from across past Final Fantasy music releases. The official track list includes the original FINAL FANTASY X version, the Piano Collections arrangement, orchestral and brass versions, a jazz arrangement, an electronica version, and more recent recordings from Crystalline Resonance - FINAL FANTASY Piano Collection and #SQkawaii Sounds -FINAL FANTASY-.
Visual Art Book Also Joins the Anniversary Lineup
Square Enix’s official store has also listed the FINAL FANTASY X 25th Anniversary Visual Art Book -Eternal Spira- for July 3, 2026 in Japan. The book collects previously released artwork and special illustrations tied to Final Fantasy X and its later projects.
Originally released in 2001, Final Fantasy X follows Tidus, a young blitzball star who is pulled into the world of Spira and drawn into a larger journey alongside the summoner Yuna. The game is remembered for its emotional story and memorable score, which may point to why Square Enix is revisiting some of its most iconic tracks and artwork for the anniversary.
