DOOM: The Dark Ages DLC is Titled Revelations
Coming July 7
Id Software is not finished with DOOM: The Dark Ages just yet, as during the Xbox Games Showcase June 2026, they, along with Bethesda, officially revealed Revelations, the first campaign expansion for the critically acclaimed shooter. Alongside the announcement, the developers confirmed that players will not have to wait long to continue the Slayer’s journey, with the DLC set to launch this July 7.
According to the game’s official description, the Slayer finds himself wounded and betrayed, trapped within a brutal purgatory where he must confront disturbing truths while searching for a way to escape. Along the way, he will gain the aid of a "mysterious ally" and face a powerful enemy described as a godlike abomination.

A brand-new weapon is coming with Revelations: the Chain Spear. Bethesda describes it as a tool that "rewards mastery with;a potent combinationof power and mobility."
Revelations will also introduce &qout;new levels with deeper puzzles, new demons and new mysteries."
In a Slayers Club livestream about the game, director Hugo Martin mentioned that the game is "massive," and that "it’s basically like a sequel. I mean, that’s what it feels like, it’s just ginormous."

Launching alongside the expansion on July 7 is the free Ripatorium 3.0 update for all DOOM: The Dark Ages players. The update adds deeper customization options, improved passcode generation, and personal presets for the game's arena challenge mode. Players who own Revelations will also gain access to additional Ripatorium maps, demons, and fully upgraded weapons after completing the DLC's story campaign.
