Don't Starve Elsewhere Gameplay
Don’t Starve Elsewhere follows a classic survival loop to collect materials, craft tools, build shelters, and explore dangerous lands while trying to stay alive. Players still have to manage their resources efficiently while trying to avoid threats as they move through different environments, either alone or with others in co-op.
The game pushes itself further from previous entries by adding more vertical exploration, giving players more mobility through climbing, sailing, and traveling across various terrains. Each area also comes with its own dangers and conditions, featuring snow, caves, water, cliffs, different creatures, and more.
Don't Starve Elsewhere Story Plot
Don’t Starve Elsewhere takes place in a strange and mysterious world that continues the series’ eerie setting. Players are put once more in an unfamiliar land filled with unusual creatures and hidden dangers, where survival becomes the main goal as they try to get a bearing on their surroundings. Similar to other Don’t Starve titles, Elsewhere relies heavily on environmental storytelling, where players need to progress to be able to learn more about the strange phenomena and lore throughout the lands.
