Digimon UP Releases July 15, 2026
Taichi and Agumon Await One Million Pre-Registrations
Digimon UP is set to hit mobile screens next week, on July 15, 2026. The release date was confirmed through a special video message from the game’s producer, Kimi-P, published on the project’s official Twitter (X) account.
According to Kimi-P, the development team opted to announce the date ahead of schedule after receiving an influx of inquiries from the community regarding the game's availability, stating that he "couldn't wait anymore" to share the date with audiences.
The producer also highlighted the growing list of launch rewards that will be distributed to everyone who pre-registered. The community has already secured multiple milestone rewards, including the digital monsters Gekkomon at 100,000 registrations and Numemon at 500,000 registrations. The 800,000 milestone has also been surpassed, unlocking a Patamon Pajamas cosmetic outfit designed for the player's avatar sprite.
Because the 800,000 reward has been confirmed, the current pre-registration count is within 200,000 users of the next major tier. Kimi-P noted that the community is "very close to the 1 million pre-registration goal."
If this metric is achieved, a final reward tier featuring the franchise’s characters Taichi Yagami and Agumon will be distributed. Based on the game’s established systems, this reward is anticipated to feature Taichi as a selectable player sprite and Agumon as a playable Digimon.
Players will also receive the following in-game items:
⚫︎ 10 Digimeat Seeds; 3 Great Digimeat Seeds (used to raise their Digimon)
⚫︎ 1,000 Bits (in-game currency)
⚫︎ 3,000 DigiEmeralds (the game’s premium currency)
Furthermore, vouchers used for the game’s gacha mechanics will be distributed for free at launch:
⚫︎ 450 Supporter Summon Tickets
⚫︎ 450 Skill Card Summon Tickets
⚫︎ 1,000 Hologram Tickets
What is Digimon UP?
First unveiled during Digimon Con 2026, Digimon UP is a free-to-play monster-raising RPG for mobile platforms that harkens to its Tamagotchi-like roots. Here, players raise a partner Digimon by feeding, training, and guiding it through multiple Digivolution stages before taking it into 3v3 battles.
