BanG Dream! Our Notes Gears Up for 2026 Launch
Pre-Registration Open, Closed Beta Begins August 6
BanG Dream! Our Notes kicked off global pre-registration and beta sign-ups before the planned 2026 release on iOS and Android. Bilibili Game announced players can register through the App Store, Google Play, or the game's official site, earning launch-day rewards for early registration.
Sign-ups for the global Closed Beta Test are running alongside pre-registration, with interested players able to apply through an official survey on the game’s site for a shot at early access. The beta test starts August 6 on iOS and Android, supporting Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Korean, and those selected will get an early look at the exclusive ANON TOKYO feature before it's available to the public.
The launch reward pool grows alongside community participation. Pre-registration numbers have already crossed 300,000 globally, which unlocked a reward of 1,200 Stars, the game’s premium currency, to be handed out on the release day. The campaign's next target is 500,000 sign-ups, which will bump that reward up to 2,000 Stars, with the original milestone goal also promising every participant enough Stars to cover roughly 20 gacha pulls once the game goes live.
They also introduced the game's core rhythm system, GEKISO LIVE, a newly made mechanic meant to keep performances feeling lively and unpredictable. Songs are built around GEKISO segments that give a mix of combo chaining, precise timing, and surprise twists, while a real-time co-play mode allows groups of up to five players to perform together online. An ASSIST MODE is also being added to help new players ease into the rhythm gameplay without feeling overwhelmed early on.
Music Library and Five-Band Stories
The soundtrack for BanG Dream! Our Notes has new original tracks with established favorites pulled from across the wider franchise, including songs tied to MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica. Confirmed tracks so far include MyGO!!!!!'s "Mayoiuta" and a new version of "Haruhikage," Ave Mujica's "KiLLKiSS," Mugendai MewType's "MUGEN MY WORLD," millsage's "Kishi Kaisen," and Ikka Dumb Rock!'s "Homie's Tie!!," with additional reveals expected later on.
Story-wise, the game covers five different girl bands and roughly 25 characters across branching narratives. Series mainstays MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica return alongside three brand-new groups, Mugendai MewType, millsage, and Ikka Dumb Rock!, each given their own standalone arcs.
A newly built Cinematic Narrative System handles the storytelling through expressive animation, performance sequences, and cutscenes styled like storyboards, giving players the chance to revisit key scenes from the MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica anime through a different lens while also diving into completely new material built specifically for the three newcomer bands.
Pre-Registration Events Alongside Live Appearances
To celebrate the pre-registration launch, an upcoming music video for MyGO!!!!!'s "Shoumeisanka" has gone live, alongside a "Message in a Bottle" community campaign encouraging fans to submit their thoughts in exchange for limited rewards. Anyone who finishes the pre-registration process is also entered into a drawing for additional prizes.
The mobile game will also have a physical presence at major events in July, including Anime Expo 2026, AGCHK, and Seoul POPCON 2026, giving players a chance to check out the game firsthand ahead of release.
