Official Announcement Confirms End of Content Updates
Aether Gazer developer YongShi shared an official statement on Bilibili confirming that the game will receive no further content updates once Version 5.2 rolls out on July 23, 2026. The studio pointed to constraints on its team's size and the game's underwhelming sales as the driving factors. Until more details are shared, players will still be able to log into their accounts as usual once the updates are complete.
As a send-off, YongShi is preparing a one-time mail gift for all players once V5.2 launches, made up of 90 Precise Detection Certificates, a Sleeping Child of True Sakura, an Oath Ring, and 168 Costume Change Tickets. That same update will also introduce a limited-time event called "Heart's Choice Moment," letting players claim any one corrector introduced in V5.2, aside from those tied to collaboration content.
Global has yet to release a statement in relation to the announcement from CN. For now, players can stay tuned for news by following official accounts.
