Xbox Design Lab Controller Designs Are Now Available

Subnautica 2 has revealed new Xbox Design Lab controllers alongside a new Youtooz plush collection featuring several creatures from the iconic underwater survival series.
The new controller lineup includes themed versions of the standard Xbox Wireless Controller and the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The configurations shared by the official Subnautica account are priced at $95.97 for the standard model and $189.48 for the Elite model, though pricing may vary depending on customization options selected through Xbox Design Lab.
The showcased designs feature color palettes inspired by Subnautica 2’s underwater setting. The standard controller uses a Lunar Shift body with Dragonfly Blue buttons, Zest Orange back panels and bumpers, Glacier Blue triggers, gray-on-white ABXY buttons, and rubberized black grips.

Meanwhile, the Elite controller features a Glacier Blue body, Metallic Zest Orange bumpers and triggers, a Bright Silver faceted D-pad, Bright Silver thumbsticks with Robot White tops, Desert Tan thumbstick rings, and black ABXY buttons.
The controllers are preset Xbox Design Lab configurations shared through Subnautica’s post on X (formerly Twitter). Players can further customize multiple controller elements through the Design Lab, including the front and back shells, side grips, thumbsticks, triggers, D-pads, face buttons, metallic accent finishes, and optional personalized engravings.

Creators Received Puzzle Box PR Packages

Unknown Worlds Entertainment also sent select creators and streamers a special Puzzle Box for Subnautica 2’s Early Access launch. The package required creators to solve a series of puzzles and codes before unlocking the briefcase included inside the box.
Videos shared online showed the briefcase containing a Subnautica-themed Keychron V4 Max keyboard featuring gray, blue, orange, and white keycaps, with "Subnautica 2" printed on the spacebar, alongside a white Logitech mouse with Alterra logo. The Puzzle Box appears to have been distributed as part of a creator promotional campaign and is not currently being sold publicly.
Subnautica 2 is now available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99 USD. For more information about the game, check out our article below.
