Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life is a Meta VR Title Coming in Spring 2027

Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life comes to virtual reality (or MR, mixed reality) in Spring 2027, as announced on the game's official Japanese X/Twitter account. Based on the 2023 title, Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, the short trailer revealed snippets of familiar gameplay, but done in virtual reality. Players hold the entire Story of Seasons world in their hands, experiencing the classic but with a modern, more interactive twist. There will be direct control with full hand tracking, allowing players to lift characters or even buildings when fixing up the farm. This adds "realistic minigames" such as for milking cows, shearing sheep, harvesting crops, and fishing.
It was first announced during the 30th Anniversary Title Talk Stage in the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show 2026 by series manager Hikaru Nakano.
Aside from the mechanics shown in the trailer, not much has been revealed about the upcoming VR game. It is available to be wishlisted on the official Meta website ahead of its eventual launch next year.
