Invites Players to Future Confidential Tests
Silver Palace has opened recruitment for its "Private Investigator" Project, a "long-term recruitment initiative" for players who may be invited to participate in future confidential tests. The developer described the initiative as a way to assess work in progress through "small-scale, confidential testing programs." Interested players known as must be aged 18 or above to join the project through the official recruitment survey. The FAQ confirms that recruitment is "open for recruitment on a long-term basis," which means there is no deadline; eligible players can submit the survey at any time
The developer says the tests will examine the design of upcoming game content, with participants invited to share feedback on the material they evaluate. When a confidential test becomes available, the official team will select participants "based on the requirements of each version" and send individual invitations. The FAQ adds that "eligibility for each confidential test is determined independently," so joining the project does not guarantee an invitation to every test.
Other gacha games have similar programs for testing content in development. Zenless Zone Zero’s "Hollow Vanguards" program, for example, offers selected testers Polychrome, the in-game gacha currency, for completing test assignments and feedback questionnaires.

Participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before taking part. The recruitment survey states that test content "must not be disclosed or disseminated to any third party in any form."
The FAQ specifically prohibits sharing screenshots, screen recordings, livestreams, videos, or text descriptions of confidential test content. Violations can result in participants losing eligibility for future tests, and the developer says it reserves "the right to pursue legal liability."

The Private Investigator Project is separate from Silver Palace’s "Dichotomy: Retrace" Beta Test, which focuses on adapting the game for mobile and improving performance across its intended platforms. Its content will largely match the previous Dichotomy Beta Test. The Private Investigator Project, meanwhile, will invite selected players to evaluate content still in development, though the developer has yet to specify what they will test.
Silver Palace has yet to announce a release date or launch window. The developer has also not specified when the Private Investigator Project's confidential tests will begin. For future updates on the game’s release, check out the article below.
