"First Meeting" Rewards in Guangqi City
Light and Night’s English localization moves forward with pre-registration now available for its Southeast Asia (SEA) server. Players can head over to its official website and accept the "invitation" to the fictional Guangqi City by inputting their information.
On top of receiving the latest updates on the Tencent title via email, pre-registration bestows players with exclusive "First Meeting" rewards redeemable in-game upon its official launch:

Although Light and Night SEA is set to launch on iOS and Android, it has not yet appeared on the App Store or Google Play. At present, website pre-registration remains the only access option, where players must provide their nickname, email, and SEA country (Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, or Singapore).
Scrolling down the site would also reveal supplementary information about the game: the English promotional video (PV) and character previews for the love interests Osborn, Sariel, Evan, Jesse, and Charlie. Each character has their own portrait art, personal information (occupation, age, height, and Zodiac sign), and voiced lines.
More Updates Within the Past Month
Light and Night first launched its Chinese server on June 24, 2021, followed by expansions in Taiwan on June 16, 2023, and South Korea on June 18, 2024. Drawing on previous release patterns, players expect the SEA server to drop in June as well, though no official announcement has been made for now.
However, this past month has brought fresh updates for the Light and Night community, eliciting a mix of enthusiasm for confirmed developments and growing concern over unmet expectations. The game's PV launched on March 20 on its official platforms, only for its X (Twitter) account to be unexpectedly removed.
After weeks of relative silence from the developers, the account went back online and teased the different romanceable targets through a series of posts. The latest preview on the page highlighted Guangqi City, a setting defined by its fast-paced urban lifestyle.
Developed by Aurora Studios and published by Tencent, Light and Night ranks among popular Chinese otome games like Love and Deepspace, Tears of Themis, and Mr. Love: Queen's Choice, whose global server shut down last month.
