GANG OF DRAGON Status Unclear After Studio Listing Marked Closed on Google Maps

Nagoshi Studio’s Google Maps listing is marked as permanently closed, while GANG OF DRAGON remains listed as coming soon on Steam.

GANG OF DRAGON Faces New Question After Studio Listing Change

Google Maps Listing Appears Marked Permanently Closed

GANG OF DRAGON is facing another unresolved question after Nagoshi Studio’s Google Maps listing appeared marked as "Permanently closed."

The label appears tied to Nagoshi Studio’s business listing rather than to a confirmed public statement from the studio. At the time of writing, Nagoshi Studio has not issued an official closure announcement, and GANG OF DRAGON has not been officially canceled.

The change is still notable because it follows earlier concerns around the project, including NetEase reportedly ending funding for Nagoshi Studio and the studio’s online presence becoming harder to track in recent weeks.

GANG OF DRAGON Still Remains on Steam

GANG OF DRAGON’s Steam page remains live at the time of writing and still lists the game as "Coming soon." Steam also lists Nagoshi Studio Inc. as both developer and publisher.

That makes the Google Maps listing change difficult to read on its own. The storefront has not been removed, and the game’s public Steam status has not changed to canceled or unavailable.

For now, the Steam listing remains the clearest active public page for GANG OF DRAGON. This follows an earlier incident where the game’s official YouTube channel and videos briefly disappeared before returning.

Official Company Page Still Lists the Ebisu Address

Nagoshi Studio’s official company page still lists the studio’s location as Ebisu SS Building 5F, 4-3-14 Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The page also describes Nagoshi Studio as a game development company based in Ebisu, Tokyo.

That detail matters because Nagoshi Studio’s website previously became inaccessible in a separate incident. The company page being available again does not explain the Google Maps label. Still, it keeps the situation from being read as a confirmed studio closure.

Because there is no official statement yet, the safest reading is that the Google Maps listing has changed while GANG OF DRAGON’s broader public status remains unresolved.

Latest Sign Follows Earlier Questions Around Nagoshi Studio

The Google Maps listing is the latest development in an ongoing story around Nagoshi Studio. Since the funding report surfaced, GANG OF DRAGON has had several public-facing signals that raised questions without confirming the game’s cancellation.

Those include temporary video and channel visibility issues, the studio website becoming inaccessible, and now a Google Maps listing that appears marked as permanently closed.

The new listing change does not prove that GANG OF DRAGON has been canceled. However, it adds to the pattern of unresolved signals around the studio while the game remains listed as "Coming soon" on Steam.

GANG OF DRAGON Is a Kabukicho-Set Action Game

GANG OF DRAGON is an upcoming action-adventure game set in Kabukicho, Shinjuku. The game stars Ma Dong-seok as Shin Ji-seong, a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate who becomes caught in an underworld conflict.

Steam describes the game as a third-person action title with hand-to-hand combat, blade attacks, gunplay, and vehicle action. The page still lists the release date as "Coming soon."

Until Nagoshi Studio, NetEase, or the Steam page confirms a clearer change, GANG OF DRAGON’s status remains uncertain.
