Xbox Hosts Exclusive Forza Horizon 6 Merch Giveaway
Forza Horizon 6 promotions are in full tilt ahead of the game’s upcoming May 19 release. Xbox has partnered with Sung Kang (Fast & Furious’s Han Lue) for a line of exclusive Japanese denim racing jackets. Japanese-American lifestyle brand UPRISERS LAB and Zipangu, Los Angeles’ first-ever J-Pop music festival to be held on May 16, also participated in the collaboration.
To join the raffle, fans must follow the official Xbox account and comment with the hashtag ‘#SungKangFH6Sweeptakes’ under the post announcing the collaboration. It is open to fans of legal age worldwide, who are legal residents of any Xbox console-supported region (except Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, the Region of Crimea, and Russia).
One grand prize winner will receive a Sung Kang x Forza Horizon 6 jacket priced at $899 USD, which Sung Kang is seen modeling in Xbox’s Instagram post. 10 other lucky fans will receive Zipangu x Forza Horizon 6 jackets, each worth $199. Entries are limited to one per person, and winners will be contacted through Instagram DM. Winners will be announced on August 31 through the sweepstakes’ official website.
Sung Kang talked about the collaboration on Xbox Wire. In line with Forza Horizon 6’s Japan setting, he designed the Tokyo-inspired grand prize piece himself. Hand-sewn 3D cherry blossoms and sashiko patches decorate the front and back, etched with the logos for the game, Zipangu, and Sung Kang’s upcoming racing movie, Drifter.
The jacket is made of selvedge denim, a premium woven fabric that gives it a worn, vintage look. Inside are dedicated pockets for snacks, small items, and a gaming controller, while wireless, rechargeable LED tape runs along the sleeves.
Zipangu’s jackets are selvedge denim and glow in the dark, too, with reflective LED tape running along the seams. The lining features a colored landscape from Forza Horizon 6, and inner pockets made to hold snacks and a gaming controller. The zipper tab is also removable and can be used as a keychain.
