Arknights' National Library of China event features three new outfits, login rewards, a limited-time bundle, and a new Annihilation stage on CN. See when the event starts and what rewards await players.
Arknights CN x National Library of China Event Runs Through October
New Outfits, Furniture, and Other Limited-Time Rewards Await Players
Arknights has announced a collaboration with the National Library of China titled 「恒远津梁」 (loosely translated as An Everlasting Bridge). The event will add three character outfits, themed rewards, and limited-time content to the Chinese server from October 16 at 4:00 P.M. to October 30 at 3:59 A.M. China Standard Time. The game’s official Chinese website announced the news on October 11. It is currently unknown if this is a CN-exclusive event or if it would eventually arrive to the global server.
Three characters will receive new outfits as part of the event:
⚫︎ Shu: Everflowing Waters
⚫︎ Blaze the Igniting Spark: Nocturnal Firelight
⚫︎ Swire the Elegant Wit: A Prosperous Visage
All three outfits belong to the CROSSOVER Collection, which features designs developed with external brands and organizations. The outfits will be available in the Outfit Store from the event's launch until November 6 at 3:59 A.M. Players cannot purchase these outfits using Outfit Vouchers.
The event will include a login campaign that awards themed furniture to players who check in for three days. One reward is 「绒毛读书伴侣」 (Fluffy Reading Companion), which players can use to decorate dormitories and increase Ambience. Higher Ambience speeds up Operators’ energy recovery in dormitories so they can return to work in base facilities sooner.
A limited-time bundle will also be available until November 6, 3:59 A.M. It contains 800 Orundum (the game’s gacha currency) and three themed avatars.
Ten days after the event begins, the Annihilation stage 「灰石剧场」 (roughly, Ashtone Theater) will enter active rotation on October 26 at 4:00 A.M., replacing 「默祷圣祠」 (Silent Prayer Shrine). The previous stage will become permanently available in the simulation target selection, and the new stage will remain active until January 25, 2027, at 3:59 A.M.
Collab Global Release Remains Unconfirmed
The partnership was first teased on July 28, when the National Library of China's cultural and creative account announced that a partnership with Arknights was in preparation. A newsletter posted on September 25 later confirmed a mid-October release window.
However, as mentioned earlier, the event has only been announced for the Chinese server, and Hypergryph has yet to confirm whether it will reach the global server. Previous releases show that availability can vary by region. Arknights' partnership with Chinese National Geography introduced outfits through the CROSSOVER Collection, the same collection used for the National Library of China event. Those outfits have not been released on the global server.
Arknights' partnership with WWF China in 2020 had a different outcome for global players. In 2021, the game held a separate event with WWF International that was available globally.
The National Library of China collaboration joins a list of Arknights crossovers that includes Persona 3 Reload, which brought Makoto, Aigis, Yukari, and Koromaru to the game. You can read more about that collaboration in our article below!
