Aniimo Surpasses 160K Steam Players Alongside Mobile Launch’s Debut
Landed in Steam's Global Top 10 Sellers Chart
Aniimo, an open-world monster-collecting RPG by Pawprint Interactive Entertainment, has broken onto Steam's Global Top Sellers chart afterits mobile version officially launched on September 23, 2026, following its PC and console debut the week prior. According to SteamDB, concurrent players have climbed past 168,000, continuing a streak of daily records since its release on September 16.
To highlight the milestone, the developers sent players a Sparkling Egg reward, which has a Sparkling variant Aniimo, to their in-game mailbox as a thank-you, with more celebrations teased for the future.
In Aniimo, players get to explore the continent of Idyll while capturing and raising over 200 different creatures called Aniimo. The core mechanic lets players "twin" with their Animo to borrow their abilities for traversal, puzzle-solving, combat, and more. The mobile version carries over the same features as its PC and console counterparts, with full cross-play and cross-save support across all platforms.
Mobile Gets Slight Delays with Players Being Compensated
The mobile release did hit a short delay, lasting roughly less than an hour, as Aniimo's official X (Twitter) account announced that service would be pushed back to ensure the quality of the update. Servers eventually went live shortly after, and the team confirmed a compensation package of 1000 Glimmers, the game’s premium currency, a total of the original maintenance and the added delay, along with a Sparkling Cube, for catching Aniimo.
Since the in-game mailbox was temporarily unavailable at the time, the developers said the rewards would arrive in two separate mails once said function was restored.
