REPO Overview
REPO is an online co-op multiplayer horror game for 1-6 players, developed and published by semiwork. Released exclusively on Steam Early Access on February 26, 2025, it serves as a standalone title and the studio’s second game following 2023’s Voidigo.
Drawing inspiration from games like Lethal Company and PILGRIM, REPO challenges players to infiltrate haunted locations and retrieve valuable items while evading the lurking horrors within. Featuring physics-based stealth mechanics, as well as upgrade and shop systems, the game pushes players to meet their quota—whether through skill or sheer luck—or die trying.

REPO Gameplay

REPO's gameplay follows a cyclical structure, requiring players to meet a cash quota by looting haunted locations for valuables across a series of subsequent stages. Each stage begins with players arriving at a new location in their armored truck, which doubles as their escape vehicle once the quota is met.
Once inside, players must search for valuable objects and transport them to the extraction point, all while avoiding the lurking dangers. The quota increases significantly with each stage, pushing players to take greater risks for higher rewards. To aid in their mission, they can use various tools, including a physics-based grab mechanic to lift and carry items, and a cart to transport multiple objects while tracking their total value.

REPO Trivia
⚫︎ After the failure of their first game, Voidigo, semiworks took a big risk and put all their profits from it into making REPO.
⚫︎ REPO started as a single-player cleaning simulator, not as a Lethal Company-inspired co-op multiplayer game.
