METRO 2039 Overview
METRO 2039 is a story-driven FPS set in a post-apocalyptic time where survivors live within the ruins of Moscow’s underground metro system. Taking place sometime after Metro Exodus, the game follows a new protagonist known as the Stranger, who is forced to return to the dangerous tunnels despite trying to leave their past behind. The world remains harsh and unforgiving, shaped by nuclear fallout, hostile factions, and constant threats lurking both underground and on the surface.
