Gachiakuta: The Game Overview
Gachiakuta: The Game is a survival action RPG currently in development by Com2uS. Officially announced in late 2025 following the conclusion of the anime’s second season, the title is the first major video game adaptation of the manga series created by Kei Urana. The project is being developed for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, though a specific release date has yet to be confirmed.
In a world divided by extreme class inequality, where the wealthy inhabitants of a floating island discard their refuse into an abyss known as the Pit, players follow Rudo, a boy from the slums who is falsely accused of a crime and exiled into this wasteland. The game appears to take inspiration from other action games, like Zenless Zone Zero. Players venture from a base into monster-infested zones to battle beasts and outlaws in real time.

Gachiakuta: The Game Gameplay
The game appears to be built around an extraction-based gameplay loop. Players enter hazardous zones to battle Trash Beasts and outlaws and "secure valuable objects and return safely to headquarters." Here, according to its Steam page, the game seemingly adopts base management mechanics, as players "l;use the objects acquired through missions to customize and develop the Cleaners Headquarters."
The game supports "real-time co-op play" for coordinated team missions. Exploration also includes a collection mechanic, which requires players to locate hidden graffiti within the Pit to seemingly earn rewards.
