007: First Light Gameplay

007 First Light blends the signature sandbox-style espionage of IO Interactive’s Hitman series with cinematic, action-oriented set pieces. Players can choose their approach to missions, utilizing a "Creative Approach" that allows for stealth infiltration, action-packed combat, or a combination of both, while using Bond's abilities to hone his focus and slow down time during gameplay or bluff his way past guards. The game also features intense, visceral combat and vehicle segments, including high-speed car chases.
007: First Light Characters
James Bond

James Bond, also known as 007, is a legendary British Secret Service agent who has fought brutal villains across the globe… or so he will be. 007 First Light is Bond’s origin story: he is young, reckless, talkative, cocky, and on his way toward joining the elite 00 program.
John Greenway

John Greenway is Bond’s key mentor during his MI6 days. Depicted as an experienced agent, he guides the young James Bond through his early missions, including tracking a rogue 009 agent. Despite this, he does not want the young agent anywhere near his 00 program, thinking that he simply got lucky.
M

M is the head honcho of the M16, one of the most elite spy organizations in the world. In this stage of her career, people see her as some sort of "temp", thinking that she’s way out of her depth. She’s ambitious and believes that she can fill what MI6 is missing.
Q

Q is MI6’s resident R&D expert. Throughout the game, he equips the young James Bond with the right arsenal to face a variety of threats. He is also instrumental in giving Bond options to solve problems using the proper tools, acting as the ultimate brains of the operation, as well as the one who has to teach and keep him in check.
Miss Moneypenny

Miss Moneypenny is the personal assistant to M, handling all administrative paperwork and providing support for the budding spy by delivering mission briefings, intel, and advice. At this point in her career, she and Bond are still figuring each other out before they would grow into their close and loyal dynamic in the franchise.
