Tier List Criteria

	The SS tier has the best Digimon that can all carry an entire team by themselves. These Digimon have amazing Signature Skills and can help you mow through the game if built properly.
	Digimon in the S tier are Digimon that have amazing Damage or Support capabilities, have amazing consistency, and are easy to build and function with minimal difficulty.
	A Tier is for Digimon that are tech options that can fill up a slot in their team, but can pull their own weight. These Digimon are usually used as flexible members to make any team workable.
	B Tier consists of mostly Damage Dealers that need teams to be built specifically around them to shine. They're great, just needs some effort on your end to make them the best.
	C Tier consists of Damage Dealers that have the ability to clear, but the lack of diversity in their Signature Skills hold them back from reaching higher tiers.

Signature Skills with Extra Effects are Valued Heavily

Digimon with Signature Attacks that can Deal Damage on top of giving buffs, debuffs, Status Ailments, or healing are the qualities we look for when placing these Digimon in their Respective Tiers.

Team Synergy and Flexibility is Considered

Digimon that can work with multiple team compositions are placed higher on the list. Naturally, Supports and Healers will be more prevalent as these Digimon are needed for higher difficulties.

Stats and Damage are Not as Valued

Due to the availability of Load Enhancements and the DLC Outer Dungeons, even an In-Training Digimon will be able to clear the game.

But you can only do so much with buffing, Cross Arts, and healing items before you face up back to back against the entirety of Olympos XII.

Coronamon	Vaccine ✓ Has a Signature that Ignores Resistances. ✓ Access to a lot of good Digivolutions. ✕ Needs Disks and Loading for Type Diversity.
Hyokomon	Vaccine ✓ Has a Signature that Ignores Resistances. ✕ Needs a good amount of Digivolving and Dedigivolving to get to.
Ryudamon	Vaccine ✓ Earliest you can get Acceleration Boost. ✓ Moves have high Crit Chance. ✕ Low base attack.
Guilmon	Virus ✓ Amazing Support Skills. ✓ Access to a lot of good Digivolutions. ✕ Functionally just a Virus Attribute Agumon.
Dracmon	Virus ✓ Has a Signature that heals itself. ✕ Would prefer to get to Beelzemon due to its ATK Growths.
Impmon	Virus ✓ Easy to obtain at the start ✕ Would prefer to get to Lilithmon or Mastemon due to its INT Growths
Lunamon	Data ✓ Learns a lot of Healing and Magic Moves. ✓ Access to a lot of good Digivolutions. ✕ Needs CDs and Loading for Type Diversity.
Huckmon	Data ✓ Synergizes well with Physical oriented teams. ✕ Needs a good amount of Talent to get to its final Digivolution.
Patamon	Data ✓ Best starter choice if invested into. ✓ Access to DNA and Armor Digivolutions.
Veemon	Free ✓ No innate Attribute Weaknesses and Resistances. ✓ Access to DNA and Armor Digivolutions.

Every Rookie Digimon is pretty balanced when it comes to their Attacks, mainly focusing on just dealing damage. We recommend getting more Vaccine Attribute Digimon at this point in the game as most of the bosses will be Virus Attribute.

Raptordramon	Vaccine ✓ Signature attack, can lower the opponent's DEF as you attack.. ✓ Learns Attack Field and Critical Field for more support.
Firamon	Vaccine ✓ Has amazing paths for Digivolutions making it a worthwhile investment. ✓ Gets Acceleration Boost ffor Physical Attackers and Shine Burst II for your Magic Attackers.
Deltamon	Virus ✓ Of all Champion level Digimon, Deltamon has the highest ATK stat. ✓ Gets Guard Bind to lower bosses' DEF stat.
Coredramon (Green)	Virus ✓ Signature attack nullifies unfavorable compatibility. ✓ Gets Mental Break for your Magic attackers. ✓ Can go down to Dracomon and swap to Coredramon (Blue) if you need a Vaccine Attribute.
Witchmon	Data ✓ Of all Champion level Digimon, Witchmon has the highest INT stat. ✓ It mostly learns Level II Spells, which can be shared around your team, or used by itself.
Kyubimon	Data ✓ If you're planning to run any Magic Attackers, has the best Skills to pick up like Mental Break and Spell Boost. ✓ Gets Reset Body which can clear any buffs from enemies.
Guardromon (Gold)	Free ✓ Can turn into a Damage Sponge with Hate Charge along with its' Free Attribute meaning it has no Attribute weakness. ✓ Can also get both Acceleration Boost and Spell Boost if you need a Support. ✓ Has a high SPI which makes it a great Healer if you need one.
Halsemon	Free ✓ Train it up to Level 40, you can get X-Aura as early as Agent Rank 3. ✕ SPI too low to make efficient use of it.
Lobomon	Variable ✓ It gets a lot of good Support and Attacking Skills. ✓ The earliest you can get Safety Guard at Level 40, granting you access to the Digi-Egg of Miracles.

Before Agent Rank 3, you will be mostly using Champion Level Digimon. Notable ones like Raptordramon already have the best Attack effect in the game, which is to inflict debuffs while also dealing damage.

Angewomon	Vaccine ✓ Second Highest INT Stat of all Ultimate Levels. ✓ Synergizes well with LadyDevimon and you will have early access to Mastemon's Skills.
Duramon	Vaccine ✓ Signature attack can lower the opponent's DEF as you attack. ✓ It mostly learns Level II Attacks, which can be shared around your team, or used by itself.
Mistymon	Virus ✓ Signature attack, can increase its DEF and SPI as you attack. This makes it an amazing tanker slot for any team! ✓ Gets Reset Body to prevent an enemy from stacking too many buffs.
LadyDevimon	Virus ✓ Synergizes well with LadyDevimon and you will have early access to Mastemon's Skills. ✓ If you're planning to run any Magic Attackers, has the best Skills to pick up like Mental Break and Spell Boost.
Sirenmon	Data ✓ Has access to SPI Shred, DEF Shred, X-Heal, and Status Barrier, which consolidates a lot of support roles by itself. ✓ Amazing INT means it can dish out decent Damage if need be with Symphony No.3 or Gale Storm II.
Crescemon	Data ✓ Has access to healing, support, and damage, plus pre-evolutions that can give it amazing Skills like Terriermon line and Renamon line. ✓ Amazing all rounder that can slot into any team.
Paildramon	Free ✓ While functionally the same as Dinobeemon, Paildramon has the edge as it can further evolve into more powerful Digimon.

After Agent Rank 5, you will now have access to Ultimate Level Digimon. At this point, your team should have specific Digimon of certain roles that you can feely switch in and out depending on the situation.

ShineGreymon	Vaccine ✓ Gets an ATK Buff everytime it uses its Signature Attack. ✓ Access to a lot of good Single-Target moves. ✕ Burst Mode is not as good despite the higher stats.
Venusmon	Vaccine ✓ Shred opponent's ATK and INT by a lot. ✓ AoE Debuff Cleanse. ✓ Amazing healing skills like X-Aura and X-Revive.
Ceresmon	Data ✓ AoE Fire Resistance Shred, Deadly Poison, and even Instant Death. ✓ Amazing healing skills like X-Aura and X-Revive.
Jesmon	Data ✓ Best Counter attacker of all Digimon. ✓ Gets amazing Support Skills like Critical Field and Attack Field.
Lotosmon	Data ✓ Serpent Ruin can lower both DEF and SPI. ✓ Can dish out amazing damage after debuffing enemies.
RustTyrannomon	Virus ✓ AoE DEF Debuff. ✓ Learns amazing Physical Skills and Magic Skills that can be passed on to other Digimon.
KingEtemon	Virus ✓ Fully shreds opponents' ATK and INT with Taunt. ✓ Learns amazing Physical Skills and Magic Skills that can be passed on to other Digimon.

After Agent Rank 7, you will now have access to Mega Level Digimon. You should focus on honing your team, fully planning out their strengths, and covering their weaknesses against the final stretch of the game.

Jupitermon	Vaccine ✓ Punish Judge will reduce Electricity Resistance and DEF. ✓ Wide Plasment will deal more damage to any Digimon below Mega.
Chronomon HM	Vaccine ✓ Holy Flare will deal damage along with an AoE Buff removal. ✓ Chronos Crop ignores attribute and type resistances.
Chronomon DM	Vaccine ✓ Chrono Devolution can lower ATK, DEF, INT, and SPI along with dealing increased damage to enemies above half HP. ✓ Holy Flare ignores attribute and type resistances.
Aegiomon	Data ✓ Can access multiple Aegiochusmon Digivolutions which are amazing supports that can shred their respective elements. ✕ Needs CDs and Loading for Type Diversity.

You should finish the game by atleast Agent Rank 8which will give access to both forms of Jupitermon and Chronomon, try to finish up the Arena Battles and finish any sidemissions you may have missed or you can also start a New Game Plus with these digimon in your party.

Aegiomon	Vaccine ✓ Can get equipment that can turn him to any Aegiochusmon at the start of battle, no need to waste Digivolutions. ✓ Can apply different Elemental Resistance Down depending on Aegiochusmon equipped. ✕ End-Game only
Jupitermon WM	Vaccine ✓ The strategy is to apply Immobilization with Dios Thunder then follow-up with Keranuos Divide. ✓ Synergizes well with another Jupitermon. ✕ Signature attacks Single Target and Electicity Type only unless given other skills via disks.
UlforceVeedramon	Vaccine ✓ The Ray of Victory deals AoE damage and reduces their ACU.
GraceNovamon	Vaccine ✓ Synergizes well with Ceresmon as it can apply status conditions and reduce Fire Resistance. ✓ Eclipse Finger deals a lot of damage on its own.

ShineGreymon	Vaccine ✓ GeoGrey Sword will deal damage then will snowball into dealing more damage thanks to the ATK boost. ✕ Depite the stat boost, going into Burst Mode is not as recommended when you can just max stats out easily.
Varodurumon	Vaccine ✓ Can remove buffs from all enemies with Aurora Undulation. ✓ Heals all allies of Status abnormalitiers and gives you protection from it. ✕ Needs investment in Personality Skills like Fortifying Charge and Great Embrace.
